"This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us." (1st John 5:14)

Today is Thursday, April 2, 2015, and early this morning will mark our third visit to the surgery theater since the wife's initial surgery on March 5. We know all the sayings about how that challenges and trials make you stronger. We are believers, therefore, we do know that God is in control. Yet, we, at the same time, are ordinary, frail human beings who have concerns and feelings. The good news: God knows all about that particular part of who we are. The psalmist David in that inspired jewel of a song put it this way: "As a father pities his children, So the Lord pities those who fear Him. For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust." (Psalm 103:13-14) We thank Him for this truth and we commend our wife into His provision for our trust is in Him. Thanks so much for all the prayers. As many of you know, my wife is the real deal, a friend to so many, and a servant of her Lord. I am humbled by prayers being offered up on her behalf from all over the world. Literally. We are so looking forward to when she is returned to her natural wanted health. Thanks for your prayers. I will update everyone later on her progress. May God bless. Amen.  ...More later.
