Children may not have everything they want in life but they are not doing so bad if they have a Mom who has always loved them more than anything else in this world.

Today is the day before we all gather, Lord willing, to honor my mother on the 90th anniversary of her birth. It's Friday, May 2, 2014, and we are excited as we await this opportunity to show our love, respect, and honor to her. We will be meeting at Martin Dies State Park where we have assembled in the past for many years of family reunions. Mom and Dad saw to it that this event was pulled off each year and it will be our great pleasure to bring it back once again to show our love for her. Lots of water under the bridge and lots of memories from our times together. Many who showed up for these annual gatherings are now on the other side awaiting our arrival. Tears. Sure. But, a sense of thankfulness feels our hearts and minds as we assemble as a family and proclaim the blessings that are ours in having this great lady as our mom. Looking forward to seeing you there mom and know that our hearts overflow with love and gratitude as we praise the Lord on your 90th birthday. Our love, Marilyn and Al
