"Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies,..." Gospel of John, Chapter 11, Verse 25)

Welcome to one and all to the place where I dispense information without regard to race, creed, or ethic origin, and I do my best to promote the truth that we all can become a born again child of the living God. That message is one that resonates on this particular Friday, April 18, 2014. Today is designated as Good Friday, the traditional celebrated day when our Savior, Jesus of Nazareth, was put on the Cross for the sins of the whole world. It was a day of suffering, agony, and shame for He who was not only the Son of God, but, God the Son. His death, burial, and His resurrection reflects the truth about the sin penalty being dealt with by the only One able to deal with it. Today we affirm the truth as given by the Apostle Paul writing in his letter to the local assembly meeting in Corinth, Greece. "For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve. After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep. After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostles. Then last of all He was seen by me also, as by one born out of due time." (1st Corinthians 15, Verses 3-8)

This is great news folks. We can be made right with our God. And, we can have Him in our life each and every day. This is why we celebrate this Good day because it is the Good News, the Gospel, that calls each of us to put our faith and trust in Him. Happy Good Friday. Happy Saturday. Happy Resurrection Sunday. Because He lives we too will live forever and ever Amen.      .....More later.
