We are thankful for the rain even on a day off.

Our Grand Lexie with our
Great Grand Maddy on Christmas Day!
It's Wednesday, December 29, 2010 and we are supposed to have a wash out rain today. That's a good thing because we are way under the needed rainfall for the year. I know all the children at home for the holidays would prefer to be outside, and so would their moms, however, we need the rain when it comes, and we need to thank God for it. Even though the United Nations experts on climate control wrote a technical paper that predicted the opposite of the frozen tundra being experienced this year, those same experts who didn't even get close are now saying they were really right all along and the cold proves their point. Hello? It was predicted to be 2 degrees warmer each year and yet, it is much colder, but no matter what happens they still say it confirms their prediction. This is why some people believe that the global warming crowd have made it a religion because the science is just not there to support their position. Here's what I conclude. Humanity has no doubt made a mess out of life here on the planet and we should be good stewards of God's creation. At the same time, we must follow the revealed truth as given in God's Word to help guide our lives each day. If we live by the truth, we will follow God's plan and we will trust in His promises that have ultimate control over all things. We can be sure of this because it is based on "thus says the word of the Lord." Some trust in everything other than God hoping for man's answers to get us to a perfect world. How's that working over the past 6,000 years? Looking at where we are as a world pretty much reflects all that man has to offer. That's why we need to recommit ourselves to doing life God's way and that is all that we can do to help change our world, each and everyday. Amen.            ........More later.
